EMC³ Consulting Corporation is based in amiskwaciwâskahikan (Edmonton), located within Treaty 6 territory. We acknowledge this land as the traditional and contemporary gathering place of many First Nations, including the Nehiyaw (Cree), Anishinaabe (Saulteaux), Niitsitapi (Blackfoot), Dene, and Nakota Sioux peoples, and as part of the Métis homeland, including Métis Nation of Alberta Region 4. We also recognize the many Inuit and First Nations people who live and work in this region today.
As a consulting practice working across multiple jurisdictions, our work takes place on treaty lands and sovereign Indigenous territories throughout what is now known as Canada. Guided by the evolving implementation of the United Nations Declaration on the Rights of Indigenous Peoples (UNDRIP), we strive to engage with Indigenous communities in ways that are respectful, context-specific, and responsive to place.
